Dr.-Ing. Max Görtz

Max Goertz is an engineer in electrical and information technology with a professional experience of more than 7 years. He has extensive knowledge in the field of electrical power engineering, with a focus on high-voltage direct current transmission and in particular on the simulative analysis of electromagnetic transients.

  • Head of EMC-testing department at KIT IEH 
  • EMC (electro­magnetic compatibility), test laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
  • 2015 - 2020:
  • Research associate at the Institute for Electrical Energy Systems and High Voltage Technology (KIT IEH)

  • Main activities: Supervision of numerous projects and conduction of standard-compliant EMC tests for manu­facturers of elec­trical and elec­tronic products. We were serving clients from auto­motive, indus­trial, medical up to household electronics sector.
